Job summary

Ethos is seeking heads of compliance to help train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. This is a flexible engagement with 5–20 hours per week, fully remote, asynchronous, and starting ASAP.

The role focuses on drafting and reviewing regulatory filings, compliance policies, and control-testing documentation, with strong emphasis on precise, high-quality written outputs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management.
• Direct ownership of drafting or reviewing regulatory filings, compliance policy, or control-testing documentation.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slides.
• Review regulatory filings and disclosure materials.
• Draft compliance policies and governance memos.
• Prepare board materials and regulator correspondence.
