Job summary

Ethos is seeking an experienced in-house counsel to help train AI language models on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will review and negotiate commercial agreements, own redlines, and contribute to diligence memos.

This flexible, remote role offers 5-20 hours per week with ASAP start, $100 per hour. Candidates should have 4+ years of transactional experience and exceptional writing, attention to detail, and craft across docs, spreadsheets, and slides.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a transactional attorney or contracts manager reviewing commercial agreements.
• Direct ownership of redlining, negotiating, or diligence-reviewing contracts.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows (commercial contract redlines, due-diligence issue lists and memos, clause-risk analyses, NDA and vendor review, negotiation position summaries, obligation and renewal trackers).
• Lead negotiations and provide accurate, timely contract analyses to support AI model training tasks.
• Maintain high writing quality and attention to detail in all documentation and communications.
