The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and coordination skills to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and oversee the full cycle of construction projects — planning, design coordination, execution, and handover.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and procurement plans.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure design intent and constructability.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve design or site-related issues.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to management and clients.
  • Ensure that all construction works comply with BCA, WSH, and other statutory requirements.
  • Manage and supervise project teams including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor quality control, safety standards, and environmental practices across all project stages.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive and corrective actions as needed.
  • Approve project cost variations, manage claims, and control expenditure against budgets.
  • Ensure project milestones are met within targeted timelines and specifications.
  • Support tender preparation, costing, and technical proposals for new project bids.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous improvement within project teams.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree in Civil, Structural, Construction, or Building Engineering (Postgraduate qualifications preferred).
  • Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale civil, structural, or architectural projects in Singapore.
  • In-depth knowledge of BCA, LTA, PUB, and WSH regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera, and other project management software.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, tendering, and contract administration (including PSSCOC).
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • WSH Safety Management Course for Project Managers (SMC) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • PE or RE/RTO registration (advantage).
  • Possession of a Class 3 Driving Licence (advantage).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
