Job summary

Our Tampines Family Clinic Pte. Ltd. invites a capable Senior Clinic Assistant to join our fast-growing GP clinic. You will support daily operations, perform counter duties, assist with patient registration, and help with clinical tasks while upholding high service standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of GP clinic experience, strong English, and good IT skills. Mandarin/Malay proficiency is a plus to aid communication with diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O level with relevant healthcare experience.
• Experience in GP clinics is necessary.
• Good command of English; Mandarin/Malay a plus.
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with clinic portals.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and assist in daily operations.
• Handle counter duties including payments and invoicing.
• Perform COVID-19/Influenza swabs and ECG as needed.
• Submit claims to Medisave, CHAS, MBS and managed care schemes.

Job description

Hiring senior clinic assistant with at least 2 years of GP clinic work experience.

To assist in the daily operations of the clinic inclusive but not limited to the following:

Counter duties:

• - Registration of patients, temperature taking, weight taking.
• - Familiar with CHAS/ Medisave/ Healthier-SG
• - Dispensing of medication and collection of payments – Familiar with E- payment modes (QR pay, Nets)
• - Perform COVID-19/ Influenza Swabs and ECG
• - Assist in booking of appointment for patients for chronic disease and remind patients of their upcoming appointments
• - Handling of incoming calls and enquiries.
• - Administrative tasks
• - Submission of claims eg Medisave, CHAS, MBS and Managed Care claims for different insurance schemes.

Requirements:

• - Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• - Diligent and willing to learn
• - Good command of spoken and written English
• - Good IT proficiency required (Computer system, Managed Care portals)
• - Familiar with MBS, MHCP claim portal.
• - Familiar with TPA claims.
• - Minimum GCE O level and above with relevant experience in healthcare/ GP clinic setting.
• - Customer service orientation with pleasant disposition.
• - Experience in GP clinic is necessary.
• - Ability to speak Mandarin and/or Malay will be an advantage, in order to communicate with and dispense medications to Chinese and Malay speaking patients who are unable to speak English
• - Able to work shifts
