Y Medical & Wellness Group of Companies is seeking a dedicated Part Time Clinic Assistant to join our GP clinic at Bukit Timah Family Clinic. The role offers flexible working arrangements while supporting quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have GP clinic experience, be proficient with clinic systems, and communicate in English; Mandarin or Malay is an advantage to assist multilingual patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O-Level or above with healthcare/GP clinic experience.
• At least 2 years of GP clinic working experience is required.
• Strong IT skills, familiar with clinic systems and claim portals.
• Good spoken and written English; Mandarin and/or Malay a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patient registration, temperature/weight checks, and counter duties.
• Process CHAS/Medisave/Healthier SG transactions and payments.
• Dispense meds and manage appointment bookings.
• Answer enquiries; perform claims submissions (Medisave/CHAS/MBS).
• General admin support and record keeping.
• Perform COVID-19 and Influenza swabs and assist doctors during visits.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Clinic Assistant to join our GP clinic under Y Medical & Wellness Group of Companies. The successful candidate will be based at Our Bukit Timah Family Clinic. This role is ideal for individuals with relevant clinic experience who are looking for flexible working arrangements while contributing to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Counter & Administrative Duties

• Patient registration, temperature and weight taking
• Handling CHAS, Medisave, and Healthier SG transactions
• Dispensing medication and collecting payments (familiar with e-payment modes such as QR pay and NETS)
• Managing appointment bookings for chronic disease follow-ups and sending patient reminders
• Answering phone and counter enquiries in a professional manner
• Performing claims submission (e.g., Medisave, CHAS, MBS, Managed Care/TPA insurance claims)
• General administrative support and record keeping

Clinical Support

• Performing COVID-19 and Influenza swabs
• Conducting ECGs and assisting doctors during consultations when required

Requirements

• Minimum GCE O-Level or above, with relevant experience in a healthcare / GP clinic setting
• At least 2 years of GP clinic working experience (required)
• Strong IT proficiency (clinic systems, Managed Care portals, MBS, MHCP, and TPA claim portals)
• Good command of spoken and written English; ability to converse in Mandarin and/or Malay is an advantage to communicate with non-English speaking patients
• Diligent, customer service oriented, with a pleasant disposition
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and commit to rostered shifts
