Job summary

PEOPLE PROFILERS (SERVICES) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Business Development & Sales professional to identify and pursue opportunities in Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, and Transportation in Singapore.

You will develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and convert opportunities into profitable business. You will prepare proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and pricing models for potential clients, aiming to achieve sales targets and provide strategic market information to the management team.

Qualifications

• Degree in supply Chain/ Logistics and / or related field.
• At least 5 years of proven, relevant BD experience in Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics & Transportation.
• Good understanding of freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, customs processes, and supply chain solutions.
• Proven track record in business development and sales.
• Good level of knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong business development and sales management skills.
• Strong communicator with effective written and oral communication skills to persuade, influence, negotiate and present business case.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics and Transportation in Singapore.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Convert opportunities into profitable business
• Prepare and present proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and pricing models to potential clients.
• Achieve sales targets set and provide timely sales & marketing strategic information
• Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact during the sales process and transition to implementation.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
• Provide input into the company's business strategy and identify growth areas.
• Generate reports, and track KPIs related to sales performance and business pipeline.
• Identify target customers as sales objectives and update sales pipelines weekly to management team
• Ensure all business transactions meet company's P&L objectives
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the department head
