Job DescriptionAs part of KPMG in Singapore's Accounting Advisory (AAS), you will work with top-tier clients in both the private and public sectors. As a trusted advisor, you will support C-suites on a wide range of finance and accounting matters, including providing practical advice and recommendations on complex accounting, financial, and regulatory challenges, as well as reviewing and enhancing finance reporting capabilities.
What will you do as a consultant in AAS?- Assist in managing client opportunities, delivering live engagements, and contributing to larger multidisciplinary teams.
- Implement new financial reporting systems, processes, and policies, and design sound governance and controls.
- Provide technical solutions to clients by understanding accounting standards and their practical applications, addressing reporting issues, and considering broader regulatory impacts.
- Support the delivery of complex projects, develop client deliverables, reports, and presentations, and liaise with clients and external advisors.
- Perform data analysis to assess data quality and support decision-making using financial and visualization tools.
- Research technical and industry developments and participate in internal and external trainings.
We are looking for dynamic individuals with:- At least three years of experience in a public accounting firm, advisory firm, or a large multinational organization, leading finance change, corporate accounting, or system reporting.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; CPA or CPA equivalent.
- Interest and experience in financial and accounting technologies.
- Strong knowledge of and practical experience with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, business combinations, share options, or financial restatements.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel 20%-40%.
- Experience in insurance is a plus.
