Job summary

Ethos BeathChapman is recruiting for a senior production support role within the SRE team in Singapore. The focus is on application production support and incident management for live FX and payments applications.

The role starts as a hands-on contributor with potential progression into a leadership role over the next 1–2 years as part of succession planning. You will work with developers, product, and operations to improve reliability and incident response.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in application production support, L2/L3 support or SRE.
• Hands-on experience supporting live business applications and incident management.
• Experience using monitoring and log analysis tools to investigate and resolve issues.
• Able to independently investigate issues using logs, metrics and dashboards.
• Strong Bash/Python scripting for troubleshooting and automation.
• Knowledge of incident management processes (RCA, SLA/SLO, runbooks).
• Familiarity with Linux, Kubernetes and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day production support for live FX and payments applications.
• Monitor application health and performance; respond to alerts, incidents and service disruptions.
• Investigate issues using logs, dashboards and metrics; troubleshoot API errors and configuration problems.
• Use Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, OpenSearch, Kibana and Logstash to diagnose issues.
• Configure and improve monitoring alerts for faster resolution.
• Lead production incidents, perform RCA and coordinate with developers as needed.
• Write Bash and Python scripts to automate support tasks and improve troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development, product and operations to resolve issues.
• Establish monitoring, support and incident-response processes for new products and changes.
• Maintain runbooks and operational documentation.
• Assist with client integration or onboarding when required.
