MORGAN MCKINLEY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Production Support Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to maintain availability of a mission-critical trading platform in a global financial services setting.

You will drive automation and resilience, collaborate with developers, PMs, and analysts to deliver platform enhancements and enforce incident/change-management discipline across the production environment.

Qualifications

BS/BE in STEM with strong problem-solving skills.
5+ years in Production Support, SRE or DevOps in trading/finance.
Proficient Linux/Unix, SQL and scripting for automation.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and SDLC/Agile practices.

Responsibilities

Maintain availability and stability of business-critical trading applications and infrastructure.
Investigate production incidents with root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
Enhance application health monitoring and implement automation to reduce manual intervention.
Execute Start-of-Day and Start-of-Week checks and respond to monitoring alerts.
Manage and optimize monitoring environments using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Geneos, and OpenTelemetry.
Support application releases, infrastructure patching, and change-management activities.
Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity exercises to validate resilience.
Collaborate with developers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to deliver platform enhancements.
Enforce adherence to incident, problem, and change-management processes.
Identify and implement improvements to resilience and automation; mentor juniors.
