TALENTWORKZ PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an established IT professional to join our production support team as an experienced SRE/IT operations engineer.

You will own incident triage, drive RCAs, monitor system health, automate repetitive tasks, and support deployments across environments. The role emphasizes rigorous adherence to ITIL and security policies within banking/financial domains, delivering reliable services, maintaining runbooks, and contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in IT production support, SRE or related roles in banking/financial domains.
• Strong Unix/Linux and shell scripting experience.
• Solid database experience with SQL (Oracle, MySQL, or MariaDB).
• Experience with middleware, enterprise messaging (MQ), and API integrations.
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Incident & Problem Management: monitor and triage L2/L3 incidents, coordinate resolution, meet SLAs.
• Root Cause Analysis: lead post-event reviews and prevent recurring issues.
• System Monitoring & Health Checks: track availability, latency, throughput, and health metrics.
• Automation & SRE Mindset: automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
• Release & Deployment Support: assist deployments, configuration updates, and post-deployment validation.
• Compliance & Governance: align with banking security policies, audits, BCP, DR requirements.
• Documentation: maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles.
