Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to handle GST returns, statutory reporting, and support audits. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with Oracle ERP. Proficiency in MS Excel and a strong understanding of GST standards are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting and system processes in the electronics manufacturing industry or related field.
• Experience in implementing workflow and system processes preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experiences in GST standards required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare GST returns reporting and other indirect taxes.
• Support statutory audit and tax audits.
• Implementation of IRAS’ InvoiceNow.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• GST Returns reporting
• Other indirect taxes reporting - withholding tax and VAT
• US GAAP reporting
• SFRS Statutory and corporate tax reporting
• Implementation of IRAS’ InvoiceNow
• Other General Ledger functions
• Corporate Finance assignments for statutory and corporate tax reporting
• Support of statutory audit and tax audits
• Support of other Corporate Finance functions
• Any others duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting and system processes in Electronics Manufacturing industry or in a related field is preferred
• Experience in implementing workflow and system processes preferred
• Working experience in GST reporting
• Strong knowledge and experiences in GST standards is required
• Familiarity in US GAAP is advantageous
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP
• Good proficiency in MS Office applications – Excel
• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications – Word, Powerpoint & Visio (preferred)
