Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Physical Security professional to manage and enhance security operations across warehouses, offices, and operational sites. The role focuses on implementing global security standards, crisis management, loss prevention, and continuous improvement of security systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the Head of Security and recommend enhancements to physical security procedures, preventive measures, and security systems
• Implement and maintain security standards across all operations to meet certification requirements such as C-TPAT, TAPA, RCAR, STP-Plus, and KCR
• Execute crisis management and loss prevention plans in alignment with global security frameworks
• Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and follow-up actions to address non-conformities and drive continuous improvement
• Develop and deliver function-specific and general security awareness training; ensure accurate training records are maintained
• Lead or support investigations into security incidents and breaches, providing timely reporting and corrective actions
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including operations and commercial teams, to support security inputs for tenders and RFPs
• Manage outsourced security service providers, conducting regular audits, spot checks, and red-team exercises across sites
• Act as the primary liaison with local authorities such as Police, SCDF, Customs, and relevant regulatory bodies
• Oversee the implementation and management of security systems, including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV
• Propose and implement new security technologies as part of annual security improvement initiatives
• Prepare reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and manage multiple security-related systems
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Security Management, Engineering, Risk Management, or related discipline
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in physical security, preferably within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or large operational environments
• Strong knowledge of global security standards and compliance frameworks
• Proven experience managing security projects and vendors
• Hands‑on experience with physical security systems (Access Control, IDS, CCTV)
• Strong investigation, crisis management, and incident response skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI is an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
