Job description

1)Supervise subordinate staff and assist the Security Manager and Assistant Security Manager in the daily security operation.
i. Supervision of all Security Officers in the Department. Plan and organize security Coverage for Special Functions and Daily Operations.

ii. Surveillance of all hotel staff to ensure they abide by the Hotel’s House Rules.

iii. Conduct investigations and put-up reports for any cases.

v. Maintain and operate Carpark system.
vii. Ensure accountability and tracking of all Lost & Found Properties.

viii. Attend all Departmental meetings and in-house training sessions.

3)i. Prepare and maintain Daily Attendance Record.

ii. Deployment and supervision of Security Officers(s).

iii. Report to the relevant departments regarding defects or problem areas observe during daily patrol.

iv. Inspect and ensure that all Fire Exit and locking device are in good working condition.

v. Lead the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).

vi. Inspect and maintain all fire fighting equipment. Render first aid to injured Persons as and when need arises. Maintain the First Aid box and ensure Sufficient supplies.

vii.Put up Daily Security Report.

viii. Ensure that there is smooth flow of traffic at the carpark and ensure cars do not park haphazardly.

ix. Attend to minor breakdown calls at the carpark and to rectify minor defects at the carpark machines.

i. Assist in maintaining the guest room door locks and safes

x. Monitoring of CCTVs
4)i Attend Fire Safety training and participate in Fire Evacuation Drills.

ii.Train the Security Officer on how to conduct Fire Safety Briefing.

iii.Conduct ‘On Job Training’ (On-The-Job) for Security Officers.

iv.To keep the Security Manager posted on all matters of interest involving the Hotel and the department.

v.Any other duties that may be required of him by the Security Manager from time to time.

vi.To represent the Security Department in absence of Security Manager.
