SEA Account Manager, Performance Coating
ACCOUNTABILITY: Accountable for commercial activities in territories, including managing key accounts and distributors developing profitable new business opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement account plans that are well aligned with business strategy for customers in marketing segments of Industrial coating, Printing ink, Specialty Paper, Textile and new Adjacent Markets like Electronics, Water etc.
- Capable to manage global and regional strategic accounts by maintaining good relationship with senior level contacts, driving key growth projects, leveraging resources from global team and regional management etc. to ensure the strategical partnership and strong growth momentum.
- Capable to effectively manage the distribution channels to make sure the business growth target can be met, by communicating the company strategy clearly, setting up aggressive growth target, reviewing project pipeline and scorecard regularly and connecting internal marketing, technical resources with these channels.
- To establish and maintain relationship with key processors, and any other key players in the
- Timely communicate key issues with stakeholders within Performance Coating organization.
- Handle administrative requirements, such as call reports, sales forecasting and expense reports, timely and accurately.
- Actively participate in trade shows, conferences and regional meetings.
REQUIREMENTS (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):
- University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or polymer related field.
- 5-8 years’ experiences in Coating industry and marketing segments like New Energy, Automotive, Electronics, Packaging are preferred.
- Strategic thinking, good listening and communication skills.
- Good command of English in written and oral communication.
- Understand and demonstrated successes in implementing value selling.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Sound business analysis and financial skills.
- Able to be flexible and adaptable to handle uncertainly inherent to dynamic business conditions.
- Willing/Able to travel up to min. 50% of time.
