Job Description & Requirements
This role is for a Scrum Master/ IT Project Manager with experience in managing and running Agile projects/squads. The resource is responsible for end‑to‑end project delivery based on committed scope, time and budget of a project.
Candidates possess an understanding of wealth management and private banking, exposure to innovation and transformation trends in the industry, and are experienced in agile ways of working and engagement of stakeholders across departments and geographies.
Responsibilities
- Analysing and detailing the project idea, assessing the project idea in terms of feasibility, cost‑effectiveness, risks and success factors in consultation with Business and IT stakeholder.
- Develop the project proposal with objectives, resources, milestones, schedule, costs, expenses and project structure.
- Drive project proposal through demand governance process.
- Set up appropriate project management processes, measure project performance and report status to senior stakeholders.
- Initiate escalations to senior stakeholders if needed.
- Develop detailed project plan and create work break down structure (subprojects, work packages, etc).
- Set up an appropriate project organization, including identification and management of stakeholders and team members.
- Run the Agile ceremonies (PI planning, Sprint Planning, Retrospective etc.).
- Actively lead the team/squad in various project meetings i.e. SIT / UAT checkpoint calls, BRD walkthroughs, Solution Walkthroughs.
- Manage scope, time, budget, risks and issues on an operational level.
- Identify the impact of change requests, issues and changes to underlying assumptions; for project plan variances, develop solution proposals and reconcile them with the demand governance stakeholders.
- Manage roll‑out / go‑live and for the hand‑over of the solution to the Operations organizations.
- Establish and implement project‑related quality assurance processes and measures; ensure the quality of the outcomes and drive their respective acceptance and approval.
- Work with cross functional teams to conceptualise the journeys, design & prioritise features.
- Able to process information quickly, break complex matters down to their core – running independently, and don’t give up easily.
- To present in front of senior leadership & cross functional stakeholders to get required decisions.
Stakeholder Management
- Represent as an ITPL/ Scrum Master when facing off with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with team members to proactively mitigate risk and provide clear communication plan in a timely manner.
- Present to stakeholders on progress as well as problems and solutions.
- Communicate key insights and findings to IT and business counterparts and work closely with them.
- Lead knowledge sharing for newly implemented modules or functionalities.
Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management
- Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- Collaborate with legal & compliance teams to assess regulatory considerations of digital solutions.

Skills Requirement
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or related field.
- 7-10 years of IT experience in Project Management & Business Analyst in running Hybrid/Agile projects.
- Experience in running Agile projects.
- Proven experience in successful delivery of major projects, on time and with quality and within matrix team structures.
- Experience in Senior stakeholder management running projects STCs.
- Experience in managing project financials (forecast v actual).
- Good understanding of technology trends in banking is preferred.
- Working experience of SDLC and Agile methodology.
- Domain expertise across Wealth Management or Private Banking functional domain would be preferred.
- Familiar with client needs in wealth management and private banking. Good understanding of business processes, process design, and process re‑engineering. Especially in the areas of online trading across asset classes & digital channels.
- Experience with product discovery and delivery concepts on understanding user needs, identify opportunities and demonstrate successful, impactful delivery.
- Knowledge of agile methodology and experience of partnering with research, design, change and technology in design thinking and agile framework.
- Demonstrated capability for problem solving and decision making. Track record of prioritising and making trade‑offs by objectively evaluating opportunities vs potential pitfalls.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to challenge business/technical requirements to build good and scalable solutions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
- Self‑driven, highly motivated, hardworking and agile enough to work both independently and as a team player.
- Experience defining a vision and strategy for a digital solution, product or service and have successfully managed the full product lifecycle from idea‑stage to scaling, including integration of user feedback into product requirements and driving prioritisation.
