Job summary

K LINE LOGISTICS [Singapore] PTE LTD is seeking a customer-centric freight coordinator to manage client inquiries, support pricing negotiations, and coordinate triangular consignments. You will liaise with overseas offices and partners, maintain service levels, and bridge customers with operational teams to resolve issues.

The role involves telemarketing, coordinating with carriers, and contributing to KPI reporting and QBR meetings. Strong teamwork and proactive communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Customer service and attend to customer requirements and enquiries.
• Support sales team in negotiating freight pricing with customers, overseas offices / partners and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare, provide freight quotation and co-ordinate of triangular consignments.
• Liaison with overseas offices and business partners for freight cost and co-ordination of consignment.
• Initial bridge between customers and operations.
• Telemarketing to prospective clients and solicit opportunities from new and existing customers on pending/new orders or orders to compete.
• Oversee freight coordination and drive cost-effective rate agreements with business partners.
• To coordinate with Airlines / Sea carriers and address concern upon escalation from internal stakeholders and/or customers.
• Join sales visit to resolve service issues as and when required.
• Act as a customer point of contact by liaising closely with relevant departments to ensure customer enquiries, concerns and/or issues are dealt with appropriately and promptly.
• Assist in implementation and submit key performance indicator reports and participate in presentation of QBR and Key Performance Meeting.
• Ability to demonstrate good teamwork skills.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
