Job summary

NNR GLOBAL LOGISTICS (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Sales Support Executive to assist the Sales team, maintain relationships with customers and overseas agents, and support pricing, tender and commercial activities as needed.

The role involves representing the company in meetings, coordinating shipments, preparing quotations, monitoring accounts, and providing regular updates. Juniors with the right attitude and strong communication are welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in pricing, tender management or performance reporting is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company during external customer meetings and internal meetings to support business growth.
• Support the Sales team in negotiating airfreight charges and costs with customers, overseas agents and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit quotations to customers and overseas agents when required.
• Assist with pricing, tender submissions and related commercial activities, including gathering and consolidating rates and information from relevant departments.
• Coordinate and communicate with customers and overseas agents regarding shipment arrangements and general inquiries.
• Follow up on outstanding shipment matters and provide regular progress updates to customers.
• Assist in resolving shipment issues by coordinating with the appropriate departments (Air, Ocean, Logistics).
• Prepare reports and performance updates as requested by customers and overseas agents.
• Support the Sales team in monitoring account activities, customer requirements and service performance where required.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Sales Manager or Head of Department to support daily operations.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales Support Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our Sales team and play an important role in maintaining strong relationships with customers and overseas agents, while supporting commercial, pricing and tender-related activities where required. The position is open to candidates with different levels of experience. While relevant experience in pricing, performance management, tender management or freight forwarding would be an advantage, we are also open to junior candidates with the right attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding or a related industry would be an advantage. Junior candidates with relevant qualifications and the right attitude are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience in pricing, tender management, commercial support or performance reporting will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Good analytical and coordination skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and engage effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• Candidates who are available to start work on short notice will be given preference.
• Only Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered.
