Responsibilities:
  1. Devote 50% of time to acquiring new business and 50% to nurturing current client relationships.
  2. Implement proactive marketing strategies to generate new business opportunities.
  3. Manage daily tasks efficiently for existing customers.
  4. Control trading material stock inventory effectively.
  5. Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent sales support.
  6. Prepare quotations and collaborate with clients on pricing matters.
  7. Follow up with customers regarding payment issues.
  8. Source suitable suppliers for trading material procurement.
  9. Evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  10. Verify purchase orders from customers and suppliers regarding trade terms, payment conditions, pricing, and lead times.
  11. Address customer complaints and any other arising issues promptly.
  12. Take initiative to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and business development, specifically in commodity and engineering plastics.
  3. Strong, assertive personality with excellent analytical capabilities and a willingness to learn.
  4. Ability to travel for business, including to Batam and JB to support current clients, with potential travel to developing regions in the future.
  5. Proven ability to lead field teams and demonstrate expertise across multiple sectors.
