Sales and Marketing Manager

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to identify and evaluate business opportunities and drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Manage sales operations in supermarkets by accurately entering newly arrived product data into the Point of Sales (POS) system to ensure seamless transaction processing.
  • Source and purchase vegetables from wholesale markets and coordinate distribution to various small shops and business partners to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Lead and support distribution channels to achieve sales objectives and maximize market coverage.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively addressing customer inquiries and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels through regular stock assessments and adjustments.
  • Coordinate and track all customer orders and requests to ensure timely fulfillment and satisfaction.
  • Conduct monthly stock takes at assigned consignment stores to verify stock accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Assist in product display, arrangement, and sorting to enhance visual merchandising and customer experience.
  • Supervise and lead a sales team to achieve branch sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Train, coach, and develop staff to uphold high standards of customer service and housekeeping.
  • Perform periodic stock-takes, inventory control, and security checks to safeguard assets.
  • Communicate workplace safety policies and compliance requirements to staff to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Utilize computer skills to manage POS entries, including price adjustments for products as needed.
  • Apply knowledge of Microsoft Excel, web platforms, Photoshop, and mobile applications to support online delivery initiatives.
  • Operate delivery vehicles (2A/2B/Class 3/Class 4 licenses required) to ensure prompt doorstep delivery of goods for online orders.
