Job summary

FOCAL SEARCH PTE. LTD. seeks a marine sales professional to design and drive a strategy and business plan that ensures targets are met and profits secured. You will canvass owners, prepare quotes, and coordinate with engineers and service managers to deliver solutions.

You will report biweekly on targets, quotations, and service issues, while upholding ethics and company guidelines, and using Navision to generate quotations and confirm orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marine Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three years of marine sector sales experience.

• Creates a sales strategy and business plan for the marine industry to meet targets and profit.
• Develops action plans to locate sales leads and prospects efficiently.
• Gives timely performance feedback to the head of sales.
• Maintains a maximum profit margin with competitive pricing on quotations.
• canvassing owners and the sales rem supervisor; coordinates quotes and customer orders; coordinates with service managers.
• Submits biweekly reports on targets, quotations, and service attendance.
• Follows company guidelines and ethics; ensures team compliance.
• Supports group efforts by completing assigned tasks.
• Uses Navision to generate sales quotations and order confirmations.

Job Description:

• Creates a sales strategy and business plan specifically for the marine industry that guarantees the company will meet its sales targets and turn a profit.
• Accountabilities and obligations (main duties and ongoing sales-related responsibilities).
  Creates individual and team action plans for efficiently locating sales leads and prospects.
• Gives the head of sales timely performance feedback.
• Maintains a maximum profit margin while providing prompt, accurate, and competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval.
• Mostly canvassing owners and the sales rem supervisor. Get quotes ready and follow up on other given tasks and the customer's purchase order. In order to coordinate project and service work between clients and internal engineers, communicate with service managers or coordinators.
• Submit a biweekly report to the head of sales regarding sales targets and quotations, as well as technical issues and service attendance.
• Follows all company guidelines, protocols, and codes of ethics in business, and makes sure the team is aware of and follows them.
• Support group efforts by completing relevant tasks as assigned.
• Using the ERP Navision System to generate the sales quotation and sales order confirmation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marine Engineering or a related field
• Three years minimum of marine sector sales experience.
