What You Will Do

• Develop new business:Identify prospective customers, assess opportunities, and convert qualified leads into sales across marine markets.
• Grow customer accounts:Build lasting relationships with existing clients, understand their changing needs, and identify opportunities for further business.
• Provide technical guidance:Review specifications and operating requirements to recommend suitable marine engines and power systems.
• Prepare sales submissions:Produce detailed quotations, cost estimates, technical proposals, and tender responses with accurate specifications and pricing.
• Coordinate solution delivery:Partner with engineering colleagues to address specialised requirements and work with service and logistics teams to support smooth execution.
• Track market developments:Monitor customer demand, industry developments, and competitor activity to inform sales priorities.
• Support regional opportunities:Visit customers and prospects across the region at least quarterly, with additional travel when business needs require.

What You Will Bring

• At least two years of relevant marine industry experience, preferably involving sales of marine engines, propulsion systems, or related heavy equipment.
• A diploma or degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A disciplined, analytical working style, strong attention to detail, and persistence in achieving sales objectives.
• Evidence of sustained contribution and commitment in previous positions.
• The ability to explain engineering concepts clearly and connect product capabilities to customers' operational and business needs.
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging both technical teams and senior decision-makers.
