Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and market share targets in Singapore.
- Identify, prioritise, and grow key customer segments, including bakeries, F&B chains, distributors, hotels, and gelato shops.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reports to senior management.
Business Development
- Prospect, engage, and convert new customers through effective lead generation and relationship-building activities.
- Expand existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling of relevant product lines.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to support promotions, product launches, and localised campaigns.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and challenges.
- Provide professional product consultation and technical advice on bakery, gelato, and food service solutions.
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Customised Solutions & Product Application
- Partner with customers’ R&D teams to co‑develop menus and create customised ingredient formulations for seasonal and festive launches (e.g. Chinese New Year, Mid‑Autumn Festival, Christmas).
- Work with technical chefs to conduct product demonstrations and showcase practical applications of ingredients.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and relevant regulatory developments in the Singapore food market.
- Translate market insights into actionable strategies to support business growth and product development.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Conduct stock forecasting to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, manage contracts, and oversee order fulfilment processes.
- Maintain accurate sales documentation and update CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) in a timely manner.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or a related discipline (preferred).
- At least 3–5 years of relevant B2B sales experience in bakery ingredients, gelato/dairy, food service, or related FMCG sectors.
- Proven ability to manage key accounts and drive new business development.
- Familiarity with SAP systems and sales reporting/CRM tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Willingness to travel locally as required for customer engagement.
