Job Purpose

Orita Sinclair is looking to recruit a student recruitment specialist to achieve individual and departmental sales targets through effective student recruitment, outreach, and support. The Sales Executive, Student Recruitment will provide educational advice to prospective students, ensure smooth admissions processes, and contribute to the institution’s market intelligence and brand-building efforts. This role requires a balance of sales execution, student engagement, and proactive participation in marketing activities to drive enrolments and strengthen the school’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities
Sales (Core Focus)
  • Achieve individual and departmental monthly sales targets.
  • Follow up on sales leads and enquiries promptly.
  • Actively generate and pursue own sales opportunities.
  • Provide accurate educational advice and counselling to prospective students.
  • Maintain an updated and presentable sales kit for assigned programmes.
  • Conduct pre-course counselling in line with company guidelines.
  • Process student applications and ensure collection of required documents.
  • Provide weekly updates on leads and recruitment progress.
  • Conduct competitor scans and report on industry, sectoral, and government initiatives.
  • Give timely feedback and recommendations on marketing campaigns.
Agent and International Recruitment
  • Liaise with external recruitment agents to strengthen international student pipelines.
  • Provide agents with updated programme information, marketing materials, and training where needed.
  • Monitor agent performance and provide feedback to improve results.
  • Ensure agent practices comply with the institution’s standards and regulatory requirements.
Student Outreach & Support
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and current students.
  • Participate in local and overseas sales/marketing activities, including seminars, visits, and education fairs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to strengthen strategy and outcomes.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities and student pipelines.
  • Provide insights on competitor activity and evolving market trends.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education Management, or related field.
  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and relevant working experience will be considered favourably.
Experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or customer service with a track record of revenue growth.
  • Experience in the education or training sector is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Private Education sector and EduTrust requirements is a strong advantage.
