Job summary

Yang Ming (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive sales professional to expand its customer base in shipping, logistics and freight forwarding. You will identify new business opportunities and drive growth from new and existing clients.

You will nurture relationships, conduct visits and calls, negotiate rates, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues while tracking payments and achieving targets in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the company's customer base and identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to grow and retain business.
• Conduct customer visits and sales calls to understand customers' requirements and identify business opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Attend to customers' sales enquiries and follow up on quotations and rate filing.
• Prepare sales reports, market analysis and relevant statistics to support business development strategies and growth.
• Conduct rate negotiations with tender accounts and service contract customers.
• Act as the key contact point for customers and coordinate with internal departments to resolve escalated issues promptly.
• Monitor outstanding payments from credit customers and follow up to ensure timely payment and maintain a healthy aging balance.

• Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with internal teams.
