Job summary

SEARCH INDEX PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Business Development / Sales Hunter to grow our local freight forwarding footprint. You will proactively identify new opportunities, tailor logistics solutions, and build lasting client relationships to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

You should have 3–4 years of hunting sales and business development experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics, with strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills in a fast-paced, target-driven

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities locally.
• Implement strategic plans to meet revenue targets and explore new markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and tailor logistics solutions.
• Maintain regular contact to build rapport and market intelligence.
• Prepare competitive quotations and proposals.
• Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the Manager.
• Achieve individual sales targets and KPIs.
• Provide support to the Operations Team when required.

Job Scope:

• Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities locally
• Implementing strategic plans to meet revenue targets and explore emerging markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored logistics solutions to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
• Maintain close contact with customers regularly in order to build a strong rapport for more business support and market intelligence
• Prepare competitive quotations and proposals
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the Manager
• Achieve individual sales targets and exceed key performance metrics (KPIs)
• Provide support to the Operations Team when required

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Business and/or related field
• 3-4 years of strong hunting sales and business development experiences in the Freight Forwarding / Logistic / Shipping industry
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in hunting responsibilities
• Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skill
• Strong follow-up and effective negotiation skills
• Self-driven, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast paced, target oriented environment.
