The Sourcing King is a premier supplier of construction and interior renovation materials. Are you an Interior Designer or Project Coordinator tired of late-night client calls and unstable income?
We want you to join the "Supplier Side." Use your knowledge of renovations, CAD drawings, and materials to consult with Architects and Main Contractors. You get the thrill of the industry without the retail hours.
Strategic Prospecting: Identify and target new potential clients, including general contractors, architects, and government agencies to build your own sales pipeline.
Portfolio Stewardship: Serve as the main point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of existing accounts, nurturing relationships to ensure repeat business and loyalty.
Bid Management: Manage the full tender process for large-scale projects, reviewing bid documents and submitting competitive packages before deadlines.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and pricing trends to ensure our product solutions remain the top choice for contractors.
Network Expansion: Actively network within the construction industry to turn one-off buyers into long-term trade partners.
Needs Assessment: Consult with clients to deeply understand their project scope, budget constraints, and specific site requirements.
Solution Selling: Recommend the most suitable materials based on your technical knowledge of building codes, environmental conditions, and durability.
Technical Quoting: Prepare detailed, accurate quotes and proposals, itemizing costs and specifications to prevent disputes later.
Value Engineering: Work with clients to propose alternative material solutions that meet their design intent while staying within budget.
Design Translation: Use your ability to read floor plans and CAD drawings to verify quantities and ensure the right products are ordered for the right spaces.
Order Stewardship: Oversee the entire order lifecycle from the moment the PO is signed to the final delivery at the job site.
Internal Coordination: Work seamlessly with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability matches the client's timeline.
Delivery Management: Proactively monitor delivery schedules and communicate updates to the contractor before they have to ask.
Site Troubleshooting: Occasionally visit job sites to inspect material applications or address client concerns firsthand.
Defect Resolution: Take ownership of post-sale issues, coordinating with manufacturers for replacements or repairs if materials arrive damaged.
CRM Discipline: Diligently use our CRM system to track all client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities.
Sales Forecasting: Provide regular activity reports and sales forecasts to management to help plan inventory and strategy.
Contract Negotiation: Prepare and negotiate pricing terms and contracts, ensuring all agreements are commercially viable.
Omni-Channel Communication: Respond promptly to inquiries via Email, WhatsApp, and Microsoft Teams to keep fast-moving projects on track.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all quotes, invoices, and delivery orders to ensure a smooth audit trail.
Industry Background: Experience in Interior Design, Renovation Coordination, or Construction Sales is preferred.
Technical Skills: You must be comfortable reading CAD drawings / Floor Plans to quote accurately.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and comfortable using modern CRM tools like Lark/Feishu.
Mobility: Willing to travel to client sites/showrooms when required.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills and the resilience to handle the fast-paced construction environment.
