About the job Sales Engineer (Marine/Shipyard)
  • Commercial development and establishing commercial strategies by exhausting prospects in both the domestic and international markets.
  • Develop and implement all strategic sales programs to support corporate goals and meet sales performance targets.
  • Responsible for maximising profit margins and fulfilling predetermined sales targets.
  • Prepare monthly/annual sales and forecast budgets, as well as sales proposals for customers.
  • Project management is responsible for the department's profit and loss.
  • Keep up with industry news and trends, goods, services, competitors, important information regarding heritage, existing, and developing technologies, and the most recent product-line changes.
  • Provide proactive leadership, ownership, and responsibility in the customer / sales team environment for talks on technical solutions proposed by the company in a way that builds trust with its clients.
  • Manpower and work schedule planning, mentoring and supervising technicians as they conduct service jobs.
  • Inspect and install engines, stern tubes, and deck machinery on a range of vessels.
  • Monitor, manage, and order stock inventory.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to build strong working relationships and understand sales strategy and approach to accounts and possibilities.
  • Provide correct account information/reports to the Managing Director on a regular basis, as per the agreed-upon function reporting procedure.
  • Organizational and sales team development through the exchange of specialist skills and information through appropriate training and coaching.
  • Conduct sales presentations and technical discussions.
  • Conduct sales visits and establish new accounts with plans for increasing market share in Marine, Offshore, Power Generation, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, and Industry.
  • Forecast sales, negotiate contracts, and provide customer quotations.
  • Manage and develop relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Planned, planned and participated for exhibitions in numerous exhibitions / tradeshows
  • Employee welfare, guidance, discipline, and performance. Furthermore, that department complies with all legal and company laws and regulations.
    Health and safety of department personnel, subcontractors, and other employees who are deployed on department jobs or assigned to other departments.
  • Ensure that the department maintains strict compliance with the ISO management system.
