Job description
Sales & Business Development
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and volume targets for steel pipes (seamless, welded; API 5L, API 5CT, ASTM grades).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across oil & gas, EPC contractors, shipyards, construction, water infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Prepare and deliver commercial and technical sales presentations to customers and project stakeholders.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key clients, distributors, EPC contractors, and project owners.
  • Handle customer inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order confirmations in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular follow‑ups to ensure customer satisfaction, repeat business, and account growth.
Technical & Product Support
  • Understand steel pipe specifications, grades, dimensions, international standards (API, ASTM, EN, ISO), and coating/lining options.
  • Advise customers on product selection, technical compliance, and suitability for project requirements.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and internal teams to prepare accurate bids and tender submissions.
Market & Competitor Analysis
  • Monitor market trends, customer demand, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics.
  • Identify market gaps and recommend new sales initiatives or product opportunities.
Order & Project Coordination
  • Liaise with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with project schedules.
  • Track order progress and proactively resolve issues that may affect delivery or customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in industrial products; experience in steel pipes or oil & gas is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as API 5L, API 5CT, ASTM A106, ASTM A53 is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship‑management skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel locally and overseas when required.
