A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations. The role involves conducting safety audits, managing risk assessments, and fostering a strong safety culture across project sites. Candidates must be WSH-certified with construction experience and strong communication skills. This full-time position offers a salary range of $4,000 to $5,000 and a performance bonus, with jobs focused in the East area, particularly Tampines.

Job Scope for Safety Officer - involves ensuring full compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, conducting site safety audits/inspections, managing risk assessments, investigating incidents, supporting site teams (like Project Managers) with safety matters, conducting toolbox talks, and fostering a strong safety culture across project sites. They also handle technical submissions, coordinate with teams, and promote safety initiatives to meet MOM (Ministry of Manpower) standards and company policies.
Compliance & Auditing: Ensure adherence to WSH Act, regulations, and company policies; conduct regular site inspections and audits.
Risk Management: Develop and implement risk control measures; perform risk assessments for site activities.
Incident Management: Investigate accidents and near-misses, recommending preventive actions.
Site Coordination: Work with Project Managers (PMs) and site teams to integrate safety into daily operations.
Training & Culture: Conduct daily toolbox meetings, promote safety awareness, and foster a positive safety culture.
Documentation: Assist with safety submissions and maintain records.
Registered WSHO (Workplace Safety & Health Officer) with MOM.
Experience in the building/construction industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
