Job summary

A reputable construction safety company in Singapore is seeking a Registered Safety Officer to develop and implement safety policies, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in building construction projects and excellent analytical and communication skills. Immediate start is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Safety Officer with MOM.
• 3+ years of working experience in health and safety field.
• Experience in Building Construction Projects.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Formulate and develop Company’s safety policy and procedures
• Assist and enforce sites to implement site health and safety plans
• Perform health and safety audits on sites
• Conduct periodic health and safety training for site personnel
• Maintain Company’s health and safety statistics and records
• Liaise with Government Agencies on health and safety issues, application of factory permit and other safety statutory requirements for compliance by sites
• Investigate all accidents which occur and recommend appropriate health & safety measures to prevent their occurrence
• Assist Senior Project Manager / Project Manager on all site safety matters
• Ensure the Occupational Health Safety management programme are effectively implemented and maintained
• Conduct and plan safety training awareness programme
• Preferably have a valid driving license and own transport

Requirements

• Registered Safety Officer with MOM.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Possess excellent analytical skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Efficient, Able to work independently.
• Able to speak and write good English.
• Experience in Building Construction Projects
