Job description

Good Bonus - AWS + 3 month Variable Bonus / Permanent Role

Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.
• Oversee and lead the Safety team & subcontractors in the implementation of Company’s safety systems at sites.
• Monitor safety and health aspect of all projects and workers safe work practices.
• Conduct site inspection on work activities to ensure implementation of safe work procedures.
• Investigate accidents / incidents / dangerous occurrences and recommend remedial measures to prevent any recurrences.
• Carry out risk assessment for all projects and maintain high level of safety and housekeeping at site.
• Carry out safety orientations and to conduct daily toolbox meetings.
• Plan, administer and implement safety policy and safety procedures in compliance with MOM safety regulations
• Familiarize with ISO45001 Audit requirements and make preparation for the Audit.
• Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health Act and all its subsidiary and statutory legal legislations.
• Identify any unsafe conditions or unsafe work practices and recommend / implement reasonably practicable measures to correct the situation.
• Any other duties and responsibility as assigned.

Requirements

• At least a Diploma or Degree in Workplace Safety & Health from a recognised Polytechnic/University
• Certificate in WSH (Level C)
• Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Engineering and Construction industry

• Salary for experience candidates will be considered based on the years of experience and our internal salary structure

• Variable Bonus ranging from 1 to 3 months depending on individual and company performance
• Working hours: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm / 8.30 to 5.30 pm / 9.00 am to 6.00 pm / 9.30 am to 6.30pm / 10.00am to 7.00pm
• Working days: Monday to Friday (1 day work from home per week)
• Annual Leave: 14 days up to 17 days for non-executive (Assistant Engineer and below)
• 18 days up to 21 days for executive (Engineer and above)
