Job summary

A staffing agency in Singapore is looking for a Safety Coordinator to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace. The role involves overseeing safety practices, conducting safety meetings, and performing inspections at various sites. Applicants must hold a WSQ Safety Coordinator Level B certification and be comfortable working in cleanroom environments. This position supports business operations and requires effective coordination with authorities for compliance.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, wearing full cleanroom jumpsuit and PPE.
• Able to work under yellow/amber lighting conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure occupational safety, health, and security at the workplace.
• Oversee safety practices and execute Safety, Health & Security activities.
• Conduct monthly Safety Meetings and quarterly SHS Committee Meetings.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct safety-related training.
• Perform safety inspections and prepare reports.
• Review and revise HIRARC, SWP, and MOS.
• Onsite supervision of FSO activities in accordance with customer protocols.
• Liaise for license renewals with authorities.
• Support facilities and fleet management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure occupational safety, health, and security at the workplace.
• Oversee safety practices and execute Safety, Health & Security (SHS) activities to ensure compliance with legal regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Conduct monthly Safety Meetings with Field Service Operations and quarterly SHS Committee Meetings; prepare agendas and minutes.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct safety-related training for internal and external staff.
• Perform safety inspections at office premises and customer sites; prepare reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review and revise HIRARC, Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Method Statements (MOS) as and when necessary.
• Be onsite to supervise and monitor the safe operation of FSO activities (project-based) in accordance with customer requirements and protocols.
• Liaise with relevant authorities and agencies for license renewals.
• Support facilities and fleet management activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum WSQ Safety Coordinator Level B certification (mandatory)
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom / controlled environment, including:
  • Wearing full cleanroom jumpsuit and PPE
  • Working under yellow / amber lighting conditions
