Job Description

• Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
• Assist site management on safety and health related matters
• Follow up with the committee site walk inspection findings for WSH Officer to close up the report
• Assist in incident / workplace investigations and corrective action recommendations
• Responsible for daily checklists are properly documented
• Carry out daily toolbox meeting.
• Coordination with relevant site in-charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.
• Conduct site safety inspection to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and health Act and regulations
• Assist to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues
• Ensure that all safety and health documentations are maintained and readily available upon request
• Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations
• Prepare, review and revise of method statement and risk assessment as and when required
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time
• Preferably with Semicon experience

Requirements

• WSQ: Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent as required under WSH regulations
• Managing Work‑At‑Height Course or equivalent (Work at Height for Assessor)
• Occupational First Aid
• BizSAFE Level 2: Risk Management
• Processes other safety certificates is an additional advantage
