Job summary

A leading construction management firm in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to enhance site safety standards. The candidate will assist in implementing the Safety Management System, conduct daily site inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities include training new joiners on safety protocols, performing risk assessments, and preparing inspection reports. Relevant experience in building construction and safety certifications are preferred. This role is pivotal to maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant working experience in Building construction would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of the Safety Management System on the worksite.
• Conduct inspections of the site daily and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports for immediate action by the Construction Manager.
• Conduct in-house safety orientation for new joiners and daily toolbox meetings.
• Ensure safety measures are carried out at all times on project sites.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify safety hazards on site.
• Work closely with safety officer and personnel to ensure compliance.
