Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store and ensure smooth store operations.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical stock matches system records.
• Maintain basic sales, inventory and operational records and reports.
• Attend to walk-in customers and provide professional product recommendations and service.
• Understand customer needs and actively convert enquiries into sales.
• Follow up with customers after enquiries, store visits or purchases.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat purchases.
• Proactively identify and develop potential customers through WhatsApp, social media and other appropriate channels.

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Retail Operations & Sales Executive to take ownership of the day-to-day operations and sales activities of our retail store. The role is responsible for store operations, retail sales, inventory management, customer relationship management and proactive customer development. The successful candidate will also provide support for selected e-commerce operations, marketing campaigns and events when required.

About you

• Relevant experience in retail sales, store operations, customer service or related roles is preferred
• Strong sales and customer service mindset with a proactive working attitude
• Comfortable with proactive customer outreach and sales follow-up
• Organized and detail-oriented, particularly in inventory management and record keeping
• Able to work independently and take ownership of daily store operations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, social media and other online channels for customer communication and outreach
• Basic e-commerce experience is an advantage but not essential
• Experience supporting marketing campaigns, promotions or events is an advantage
• Willing to be hands-on and support different business functions when required
