LTD. is seeking a proactive Retail Operations & Sales Executive to own daily store operations, sales activities, inventory management, and customer relationship development. The role includes supporting selected e-commerce tasks, marketing campaigns and events when required.

Ideal candidates actively build customer relationships, pursue new sales opportunities and contribute to improving overall store performance, beyond merely waiting for walk-in traffic.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on RetailOperations & Sales Executive to take ownership of the day-to-day operationsand sales activities of our retail store.

The role is responsible for store operations, retail sales,inventory management, customer relationship management and proactive customerdevelopment. The successful candidate will also provide support for selectede-commerce operations, marketing campaigns and events when required.

We are looking for someone who does not simply manage thestore and wait for walk-in customers, but actively builds customerrelationships, develops new sales opportunities and contributes to improvingoverall store performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations & Inventory Management

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store andensure smooth store operations.
• Maintain store presentation, product displays and overallstore environment.
• Handle stock receiving, stock movement, replenishment andregular stock counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical stock matches system records.
• Maintain basicsales, inventory and operational records and reports.
• Identify storeoperational issues and proactively suggest improvements.

2. Retail Sales & Customer Service

• Attend to walk-in customers and provide professionalproduct recommendations and service.
• Understand customer needs and actively convert enquiriesinto sales.
• Follow up with customers after enquiries, store visits orpurchases.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existingcustomers to encourage repeat purchases.
• Handle customerenquiries and basic after-sales matters professionally.

3. Customer Development & Sales Outreach

• Proactively identify and develop potential customersinstead of relying solely on walk-in traffic.
• Reach out to potential and existing customers through WhatsApp,social media and other appropriatechannels.
• Maintainorganized customer and prospect records and conduct regular follow-ups.
• Re-engageexisting and previous customers through new products, promotions and events.
• Exploreopportunities to increase store traffic, customer engagement and sales.

4. E-commerce Support

• Support basic e-commerce operations for selected productswhen required.
• Assist with productlistings, product information, pricing and inventory updates.
• Process and coordinate online orders and customerenquiries when required.
• Ensure online and offline product and inventoryinformation is properly maintained.

5. Marketing &Event Support

• Support marketing campaigns, store promotions and eventswhen required.
• Assist with customer invitations and follow-ups forcampaigns and events.
• Support the preparation of products, displays andmaterials for promotional activities and events.
• Follow up with leads and potential customers generatedthrough marketing activities and events.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in retail sales, store operations,customer service or related roles is preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service mindset with a proactive working attitude.
• Comfortable with proactive customer outreach and salesfollow-up.
• Organized and detail-oriented, particularly in inventorymanagement and record keeping.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of dailystore operations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, social media and other onlinechannels for customer communication and outreach.
• Basic e-commerce experience is an advantage but notessential.
• Experience supporting marketing campaigns, promotions orevents is an advantage.
• Willing to be hands-on and support different businessfunctions when required.

Specific targets will be set based on business needs and store performance.

Priority will be given to female candidates who can handleretail sales and market expansion/events. Priority will also be given to thosewho can maintain client relationships and expand business.
