Job summary

A local HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual to support at-risk youth in daily activities at a residential treatment center. The role involves supervising residents, providing assistance with daily challenges, and serving as a mentor. Candidates must have experience with youth, basic counselling skills, and knowledge of trauma-related issues. The position requires willingness to work 3 shifts, including weekends and holidays, offering a salary range of $2,200 to $3,100.

Job description
  • Working Days: 5 days/week – 44 hrs (3 shifts)
  • Salary: $2,200 to $3,100

Responsibilities
  • Carry out the daily operational duties and supervise residents in their regular activities
  • Assist residents with any difficulties related to day-to-day issues at Dayspring Residential Treatment Centre and ensure their welfare and safety
  • Promote discipline among the residents and be a mentor/role model to them
  • Assess, respond and handle crises or conflicts
  • Carry out individual therapeutic interventions based on care plans by treatment team
  • Participate in providing physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, educational, and social needs of residents
Requirement
  • With experience in working with youth at-risk
  • With basic processing and counselling skills
  • With knowledge of common issues and disorders that appears in trauma and abuse
  • Willing to work on 3-shift rotations and over weekend/Public Holidays
