Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to supervise civil, structural, and geotechnical building works. You will be accountable for reviewing contractor's drawings, ensuring permits are obtained, and conducting site inspections. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling. This role emphasizes safety, collaboration with contractors, and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling.
• Experience in supervision of installation of monitoring instruments.
• Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings.
• Provide all necessary endorsements by relevant authorities.
• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works.
• Ensure contractor has obtained necessary permits and clearances.
• Conduct site inspections for corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, agencies, and consultants.
• Review and assess all formwork structures and support systems.
• Supervise safety, environmental and health matters.
• Supervise installation of instrumentation.
• Supervise sanitary and plumbing installations.
