Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) for LTA projects. Responsibilities include supervising compliance with statutory requirements, reviewing contractor's methods, and ensuring adherence to approved plans. Candidates should have a diploma in civil or structural engineering and a minimum of three years’ relevant experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of relevant experience in Road Works / LTA Projects.
• Preferably specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Job Description

• Provide supervision & inspection to ensure that the Contractor(s) comply with Authority's and agencies requirements
• Supervise installation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Review and check all the drawings, specifications, and to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans/drawings
• Assist in reviewing the contractor's method statements and working procedures and assure contractor followed on site
• Ensure that all construction works complied with statutory board requirements

Requirements

• Diploma in the civil/structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or equivalent and shall be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in Road Works / LTA Projects / Viaduct / Flyover
• Preferably specialized in Engineering -Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent
• Shall have certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) Course
• Candidate with civil/infrastructure experience will be considered earlier
• Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills
