Job summary

Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • The RTO Shall supervise all civil, structural including structural elements for Bridge / Viaducts, Roads, and specialist engineering works for compliance with the LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.
  • Assist and report to the Resident Engineer (RE) and Superintending Resident Engineer (SRE) on all site activities, incidents, and near-misses.
  • Report any non-compliance issues to the RE and Qualified Person Supervision (QPS).
  • Supervise and monitor works (replacement, extension, and reconfiguration) Associated civil and infrastructure works
  • Prepare daily reports and submit them as required.
  • Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with safety regulations and checklists.
  • Reject poor quality work and notify the RE for issuance of a non-conformance notice.
  • Maintain records and documentation for field/site changes and monitor adherence.
  • Conduct standing supervision for critical site activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and risk assessment policies.
Qualifications
  • A recognised Degree or Diploma from university/polytechnic in the relevant discipline such as Civil or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be willing to do shift work including weekend duties, be stationed full-time on-site.
  • Familiar with drawings, safety requirements, and standards.
  • Strong understanding of site safety procedures and quality control.
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
