A leading research facility in Singapore is seeking a laboratory technician to perform experiments related to cell isolation and culture, assist in lab management, and support students in their research. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Sciences and experience with qPCR and imaging techniques. This role requires independence and troubleshooting skills in a dynamic research environment.
Isolate cells from human whole blood, culture cell lines, induce differentiation, and verify cell phenotypes using various techniques
Use image analysis software to process and stitch imaging data, perform analyses, and interpret the results
Perform siRNA screening to identify appropriate therapeutic targets for suppressing T cell inflammatory cytokines.
Identify non-immunostimulatory delivery vehicles for siRNA delivery to immune cells
Work together with the Research Scientist to set up atopic dermatitis mouse model and carry out funded NSC Research Lab projects
Perform tissue or cell homogenization, RNA isolation, confirmation of RNA quality, reverse transcription and quantitative PCR
Guide students to perform experiments
Assist in lab management
Perform data analyses and communicate results in a clear and timely manner.
