Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced intellectual property attorneys to help train a leading AI lab's language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role focuses on trademark and copyright work, with 4+ years in practice and direct ownership of filings and office-action responses.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with 4+ years practicing trademark and/or copyright law
• Direct ownership of drafting or reviewing trademark filings, office-action responses, or infringement opinions
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Train and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: trademark clearance and registrability opinions, office-action responses, and licensing and assignment review
• Evaluate copyright infringement and fair-use analyses, along with cease-and-desist communications and docket tracking
