Job summary

Ethos is seeking an experienced IP attorney (4+ years) to help train an advanced language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will own drafting or reviewing trademark filings, office-action responses, and infringement opinions, while ensuring high-quality, detail-oriented outputs.

This role is fully remote, offering flexible hours (5–20 per week) and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with 4+ years practicing trademark and/or copyright law at a firm or in-house IP team.
• Direct ownership of drafting or reviewing trademark filings, office-action responses, or infringement opinions.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Help train our language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents across core IP workflows.
• Manage portfolio and docket trackers related to trademark and copyright matters.
