Job summary

Hazelcast is seeking a Sales Development Representative for the APAC region. This remote role in Singapore will focus on qualifying inbound leads and outbound prospecting to create opportunities for the regional sales team.

You will engage with developers, IT leaders, and executives, utilize CRM tools like Salesforce, and collaborate with Marketing to drive outreach and events. Strong communication and B2B sales proven track record are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
At least 1 year of relevant professional sales experience.
Experience in sales development or related B2B environment.
Experience in speaking with Line of Business leaders and C-level executives.
Fast learner with strong technical aptitude.
Experience in software start-up and competitive software sales environments preferred.
High ethics, integrity and humility.

Responsibilities

Achieve/exceed monthly metrics (ex: qualified meetings/opportunities created).
Prospect, educate, qualify and develop target accounts.
Respond to inbound customer leads and develop these accounts to create opportunities.
Successfully manage and overcome customer objections.
Ability to call within all levels of an organization and identify business needs for Hazelcast solutions.
Liaise with Marketing to drive attendance to, and follow up on events such as training and conferences.
Utilization of CRM and communication tools (Salesforce, Outreach).
Utilization of Internet research tools for prospecting (LinkedIn, Seamless.Ai, Zoominfo).
