About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Relationship Manager to join our banking client's Financial Institutions team. This role focuses on driving business with Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) including Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Private Equity firms, Securities Firms, and Family Offices. You will manage a portfolio of local and regional clients, providing credit analysis, transaction banking solutions, and strategic advisory while ensuring operational and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of banks and NBFI clients in Singapore and the RCEP region.
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities, focusing on NBFI clients.
  • Prepare detailed credit applications, financial analysis, risk evaluation, and annual account reviews.
  • Pitch and advise on cash management, trade finance, loans, treasury, and capital markets products in collaboration with internal and overseas teams.
  • Support loan syndication or bilateral lending, ensuring all covenants and terms are met.
  • Contribute to process enhancements, system improvements, and operational projects.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and respond to ongoing account enquiries.
  • Support reporting requirements for internal and regulatory purposes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant FI sales and credit analysis experience with banks or NBFI.
  • Strong client network and proven marketing capabilities in the NBFI sector (Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, PE, Family Offices).
  • Solid understanding of credit evaluation, loan accounting, capital markets products, and cross-border transactions (QFII, CIBM, Bond Connect, OTC).
  • Excellent communication skills in English; basic Chinese reading and spoken skills are a plus.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, results‑driven, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Team player with ability to collaborate across functions and regions.
  • At least 3 years of experience in global markets sales preferred.
