Job summary

Maybank in Singapore seeks a results-driven banking professional to establish rapport with car salesmen, follow up leads, and drive auto loan submissions while promoting HP products and related financing packages. You will conduct market intelligence on the auto finance sector and support distributors with joint marketing events.

Degree holders with banking/finance backgrounds are preferred; minimum 1 year in banking or auto-related experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain excellent rapport with car salesmen to garner business submissions.
• Strengthen existing relationship with Salesmen through marketing visits.

• Make recommendations for tie-up packages for DHP products and review existing financing packages.
• Conduct intelligence gathering and competitor analysis in the auto industry.
• Keep abreast of the latest financing terms offered by competitors.
• Cross sell of other products, especially mortgage-related loans.
• Equip themselves with strong product knowledge including non-HP products like HL, Credit Cards, etc.
• Process and recommend Direct HP loans for approval.
• Ensure HP agreements are properly executed for disbursement.

• Encourage Distributors and customers to take up Maybank’s products, in particular, mortgage related loans.
• To equip themselves with strong Product knowledge including non-HP products like HL, Credit Cards,etc.
• Process and Recommend Direct HP loans for approval.
• Conduct due diligent checks on all DHP loans.
• Ensure all DHP loans are processed within TAT and Credit policy.
• Handle all enquiries from customers and business partners on loan related matters.
• Check and ensure proper execution of Hire Purchase Agreement and documentation.
• Provide guidance to salesmen on the execution of HP documents.
• Ensure that HP agreements are properly executed by customers for disbursement.
• To be familiar with HP schedules and settlement flow.
