Overview

G MASS Consulting are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Regulatory Reporting Lead to join a leading hedge fund based in Singapore. This role plays a critical part in supporting regulatory change initiatives and ensuring compliance with MAS (Singapore) and HKMA (Hong Kong) OTC derivatives reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of buy-side reporting challenges, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and a strong foundation in hedge fund operations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely OTC derivatives reporting in line with MAS (Singapore) and HKMA (Hong Kong) regulatory requirements.
  • Support regulatory reporting updates driven by business transformation or the introduction of new products.
  • Partner with the front office, operations, and technology to ensure new trading products (e.g., exotic derivatives) are captured and reported correctly.
  • Conduct end-to-end analysis of reporting requirements, including data sourcing, mapping, and reconciliation against broker files.
  • Perform gap analysis between current reporting processes and regulatory expectations.
  • Map data flows across systems and identify data quality issues and lead remediation efforts.
  • Act as a confident and credible liaison between compliance, technology teams, and senior management to manage reporting expectations and resolve issues.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in or with hedge funds is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in OTC regulatory reporting, with deep knowledge of buy-side regulatory challenges.
  • Proven ability to perform detailed data analysis and mapping for regulatory reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
