Job Description

• Provide nursing and basic care to clients.
• Evaluate and monitor the progress of clients’ treatment regularly.
• Bedside nursing duties (permanent shift / rotating shift/office hours):
  • Assistance with ADLs, lifting and transferring of patients where needed.
  • Provide comfort care.
  • Keeping pre-cooked meals to the patients.
  • Assist with activities appropriate to the patient’s abilities.
  • Vital signs monitoring.
  • Male and female catheterization.
  • Wound management, removal of stitches.
  • Tracheostomy care and management.
  • Nasogastric tube insertion and care management.
• Medication management:
  • Drug calculation/reconstitution, manage storage and administration of meds (inclusive of controlled drugs).
  • Medication packing.
• Ensure strict compliance with clinical regulations as a nurse.
• Create and maintain a database of all clients, ensuring strict compliance with documentation, and providing evidence-based treatment with accurate and timely records.
• Ensure appropriate, legible, and prompt documentation when required.
• Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in nursing (RN).
• Must be a Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board with a clean disciplinary record (nurses on conditional license may not apply for this role).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable with IT would be ideal.
• Some weekends, public holidays, and overnight shift may be required depending on client needs.
