Job summary

A prominent consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Tax Manager to lead and manage the Group’s tax governance across Asia. Responsibilities include overseeing tax planning, compliance processes, and providing strategic guidance on tax matters. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in international taxation, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with cross-border tax issues. Excellent English communication skills are required; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.

Job description
Overview

We Are Looking For: Lead and manage the Group’s tax governance and strategy across Asia, ensuring full compliance while optimizing tax efficiency. You will oversee tax planning, transfer pricing, and compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions, supporting business growth and mitigating risks.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the development and implementation of regional tax policies and structures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations while mitigating tax risks. Provide strategic tax guidance on business models and cross-border operations.
  • Advise management on tax planning opportunities, M&A, and restructuring activities to enhance business efficiency and value. Monitor and leverage regional tax incentives to optimize the Group’s overall tax position.
  • Manage transfer pricing documentation, analysis, and reporting in line with Group policy and local regulations. Oversee Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) and ensure compliance with evolving BEPS and global tax requirements.
  • Oversee all tax compliance, filing, and audit processes across Asia, ensuring timely submissions and alignment with Group standards. Collaborate with finance teams, tax authorities, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain compliance integrity.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Tax, or related discipline.

  • Proven ability to manage tax authorities and regional compliance matters.
  • Strong analytical, advisory, and project management skills.
