Job description

Onitsuka Tiger embarked on a new chapter on 1 October 2018, operating quasi-independently within the same legal framework as ASICS Corporation. This strategic shift was in response to the unique operational needs of the Onitsuka Tiger brand. Our goal is to elevate Onitsuka Tiger to the pinnacle of premium lifestyle brands on a global scale. As we strengthen our organizational structure to support our growth in Southeast Asia, we are in search of a dedicated Regional Senior HRGA Executive to actively engage in and support our business development initiatives.

The Regional Senior HRGA Executive will play a key role in supporting the Regional HRGA Manager in executing HR strategies and operational processes across the SEA region (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia). This role will focus on talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, performance management, learning & development, and general HR administration.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition
  • Support the Regional HRGA Manager in managing the end-to-end recruitment process across the SEA region, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
  • Work with external recruitment agencies and job portals to maintain a strong talent pipeline.
Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee onboarding to ensure new hires have a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and clearance procedures, while providing insights on attrition trends.
Employee Relations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding general HR inquiries, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide advice and guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and Company policies.
  • Assist in resolving employee issues, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
Performance Management & Talent Development
  • Coordinate the performance review process across the SEA region using SuccessFactors, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Support the implementation of talent management initiatives such as succession planning and employee development programs.
  • Work with the Regional HRGA Manager to identify training needs and coordinate learning & development (L&D) initiatives across SEA.
  • Track and report on training program participation and effectiveness.
Employee Engagement & HR Reporting
  • Assist in driving engagement initiatives following employee engagement surveys, summarizing results, identifying key areas for improvement, and supporting execution of action plans.
  • Prepare monthly reports and HR statistics.
  • Work closely with the ASICS HR Shared Services Team to provide HR-related data and reports as needed.
General Administration & Office Support
  • Support office relocation efforts, coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Assist in vendor management and lease contract renewals related to office operations.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth HR operations across the region.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources/Business Management
  • At least 5 years of experience in a HR generalist role, with a proven track record in managing HR functions across multiple locations in a regional context.
  • Able to adapt to environmental changes and varying needs with flexibility.
  • Meticulous, organized and detail oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with all levels of employees
  • Good knowledge of local employment legislations, provisions and income tax legislations
  • Experience in the retail industry, particularly in fashion (apparel/footwear) or cosmetics is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Unit4 Prosoft, SuccessFactors or other HRIS platforms.
